At the heart of SalmonFest Seattle is the salmon dinner, served hot at Lake City Community Center, this year, with flavor accents from around the world!
The Salmon Bake runs all three days of the festival. Friday August 4th 12pm-7pm, Saturday August 5th 12pm-7pm and Sunday August 6th 12pm-5pm. The Friday of festival weekend is when the business community floods the center for a mid-day, summer time treat. Hundreds of Salmon dinners are served.

Chef Michael White returns to Salmonfest Seattle for his third year in Lake City. Chef White is a local chef that has worked in Seattle his entire 30 year career.
Schooled at South Seattle Community College in culinary Arts and Food Service he has trained at The Hunt Club at The Sorrento Hotel and adds 3 other hotels to his tenure, Fuller’s at the Seattle Sheraton, The Barking Frog at Willows Lodge, and The Brasserie Margaux at the Warwick Seattle Hotel.
He has honed his skills from fine dining in French and Italian cuisines in hotels and restaurants to American cuisine in diners.
Our 2017 Salmon Bake is dedicated to Imogene Inglet, 1934-2016. Imogene was a business owner, Chamber President, activist, and champion of Lake City. She authored two books, ” Li’l Ol’ Lake City” in 2013 and “Pioneer Days” just released in 2016. Imogene was a model of Community Service and she will be dearly missed.
